Regan V. Liberals

A web ad has surfaced comparing Regan's warnings at the RNC convention to modern day Liberals. Needless to say Regan was quite prescient on where Liberals were heading:

Christ has died Hallelujah
Christ is risen, Hallelujah
Christ will come again Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Happy Passover, Happy Easter to all. We remember this day not only for the sacrifice of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ but also the triumphant resurrection. Death has lost its sting

2011 Should Be The End of Afghan Mission

A more useless war I cannot imagine. We have spilled too much blood and spent to much money in Afghanistan and received absolutely nothing in return but that hasn't stopped Hillary Clinton from advocating we spend and spill just a little bit more. For his part Stephen Harper is currently holding strong in the Canadian position that we will pull out as of February of next year but forgive me if that doesn't give me much solace; after all if there is one thing you can count on a Politician to do it's lie.
Clinton made her public pitch yesterday in an interview on CTV
We would obviously like to see some form of support continue, because the Canadian Forces have a great reputation. They’ve worked really well with our American troops and the other members of our coalition

Free Speech Attacked Again in Canada
by wiseprince

Free speech in Canada amounts to this: You can say anything you want as long as no one is around to hear it. There is, quite frankly, far too many examples of free speech being stifled and stymied in Canada and the latest example comes from one of the Liberal base of Vancouver, BC.
Details of exactly what was said are difficult to get as the Human Rights tribunal where evidence was to be produced was walked out on by the Lawyer of the accused (and rightly so) but it was essentially a typical case of a heckler being put in her place. So what's the problem? The heckler was a lesbian

We Did It! Canada Wins Gold

Congratulations to Canada and team Canada on their dominating performance at the Olympics. If there was ever any doubt as to who hockey supremacy belongs to there should be no doubt anymore. Canada went through the competition like a hot knife through butter. Some may point to close scores against the US and the Slovaks but this had more to do with nerves than talent. The Canadian team may be the deepest team in history with four lines that can take over a game. Notwithstanding Ryan Miller's great play Towes, Getzlaf and Nash were, for me, the stars of the tournament. I would not be being truthful if I didn't say that Neidemeyer(27) was one of the most steady defensemen I've ever watched and he was a real calming force for team Canada. Of course special mention goes to Crosby. He didn't have the greatest of tournaments but when the chips were down and we needed him most he came through with the greatest and most important Canadian goal in my lifetime
Canada is Golden!
Now The Slovaks

We did what we had to do against Russia and we proved that Canada is truly a force to be reckoned with in the Olympics. The goal now is to ensure that we don't get complacent and take the Slovaks, who beat the Swedes, lightly. They are in the semi-finals for a reason and we would make a grave mistake believing that we got the weaker team. The Slovaks gave both Sweden and Russia all we they can handle and if we don't come out with the same intensity as we did against the Russians it could be a sad night. We have four strong lines and that, more than anything else (in my opinion), is what makes team Canada the best in the world; now we have to prove it to everyone else.

The Russian's are a power house (Men's Hockey) and if you look only at the quality of players the order of "World's Best" would be Canada followed by Russia but unfortunately we can't only hold our golden hopes on what looks best on paper. Russian is going to be a tough team but we must win! Losing is not an option for Canadians this year.

The video below is of a teen (15) who gets savagely beaten while security stands around "observing and reporting". The report is quite critical of the guards but allow me to be critical of the bystanders.
The witness in the green top is quite annoying. She comes across as having all the answers and that if she were the guards she would have jumped in but SHE WAS THERE and did NOTHING.
One statement she says sums up MODERN western culture fairly well:
She said: All of the passengers, we were all up against the side looking...like, who is going to do something
There you have it, everyone is waiting for someone else to do something whether it's the economy or stopping a beating on the street

Discuss...(0 Comments)"Stupid Deaths" Says Cooper
by wiseprince
Sat, Jan 16, 2010 at 09:16:29 AM EST
Anderson Cooper got a little emotional on Larry King live the other day and the video is seen below. Two points about this video. First, it's interesting that after all these years Larry King still finds about way to ask the probing questions. When Cooper calls some of the deaths in Hati, "Stupid Deaths" King probes, "Stupid Because..." (Yes, this is journalism as it has come to be practiced by the MSM). Cooper does a fair job here but one wonders if he would be so understanding, "The government is doing the best they can", if George Bush was the one who allowed for these "Stupid deaths". As you know during the Katrina debacle the reaction was far from one of understanding that the power of these natural disasters are not something easily overcome by man.
Good Luck Haitians and God Bless
