"Stupid Deaths" Says Cooper

"Stupid Deaths" Says Cooper

Anderson Cooper got a little emotional on Larry King live the other day and the video is seen below. Two points about this video. First, it's interesting that after all these years Larry King still finds about way to ask the probing questions. When Cooper calls some of the deaths in Hati, "Stupid Deaths" King probes, "Stupid Because..." (Yes, this is journalism as it has come to be practiced by the MSM). Cooper does a fair job here but one wonders if he would be so understanding, "The government is doing the best they can", if George Bush was the one who allowed for these "Stupid deaths". As you know during the Katrina debacle the reaction was far from one of understanding that the power of these natural disasters are not something easily overcome by man.

Good Luck Haitians and God Bless

Partisanship knows no bounds... (0.00 / 0)

The main problem with the relief effort in Haiti is logistical. Reports say Port au Prince has one barely passible road in or out of the airport and an utterly destroyed sea port. They are indeed doing the best they can with such horrific limitations.

You bring up Bush's Katrina response, as if its remotely comparable. New Orleans had clear and open roads in every direction away from the flooded 9th ward and the Stadium where the thousands of survivors ended up. Yet major relief efforts didn't begin for 3 days.

Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but didn't George W. Bush say "heck of a job Brownie" to the head of FEMA during the biggest dropping of the ball in disater response in our lifetimes?

If you weren't such a partisan maybe you woundn't "wonder" what Anderson Cooper thought about Bush's response to Katrina, & maybe you wouldn't worry about the possiblity that Obama might be praised for the U.S. response to this disaster.

Being partisan at a time like this is childish at best, and downright heartless at its worst.
